After 13 years of providing safe, affordable housing and life skills support to young women in Roseville, The Taylor House is proud to celebrate an exciting new chapter with the opening of Taylor House #2 in Rocklin.
As our waiting list continued to grow and other community resources for young women became increasingly limited, the need to expand our services became clear. Our Board of Directors and staff began exploring how The Taylor House could reach more young women who were facing housing instability and needed both an affordable place to live and the support necessary to build a more independent future.
On August 3, 2026, that vision became a reality when the doors to our second home officially opened. The need was immediate. Taylor House #2 reached capacity right away, welcoming young women who were ready for the stability, guidance, and opportunities our program provides.
Like our Roseville home, Taylor House #2 offers much more than affordable housing. Residents receive individualized support focused on education, employment, financial literacy, transportation, and health and wellness. Through these resources, along with mentorship and a supportive community, residents are able to develop essential life skills, work toward personal goals, and build a strong foundation for independence.
The opening of our Rocklin home represents an important milestone for The Taylor House and allows us to extend our mission to even more young women in our community.
This expansion would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors, community partners, volunteers, and supporters who believed in the vision and helped bring it to life. A very special thank you to Landmark Builders and HomeAid Sacramento for their contributions in making the Rocklin house a beautiful home for our girls.
