Each resident creates a personalized goal plan with help from our team, focusing on things like job readiness, opening a bank account, and obtaining a driver’s license.
We teach residents how to navigate public transit, use rideshare services, and prepare for their driver’s licenses. We also offer access to a vehicle through our Matching Car Program.
We assist with obtaining important documents like birth certificates and Social Security cards, and address any medical or mental health needs.
We offer a clean, safe home and supportive space where residents can grow, gain independence, and build a successful future.
Prospective residents tour the house, complete an application, undergo reference checks, and sign a lease. Once enrolled, they work with our team to create personalized goals and receive ongoing support.
Residents manage the home by paying rent, cooking meals, and keeping their spaces clean. They are also expected to participate in all aspects of the The Taylor House program with honesty and an open heart.
